Here I am makin' Salsa. August 7, 2005. I got the peppers from my garden. This year I grew Pablano, Cerrano, Habanero, Anaheim, Sweet Banana and Gypsy. I got a box of tomato's from my Father In-Law when we went to visit. The other ingredients I used were Vedalia Onions (also from my FIL), Red Onions, Garlic, Limes, Cumin, Parsley, Cilantro, Salt, and Vinegar. I made "Salsa De Wimpo" for Val, as she does not like anything hot. Her's was made with the Sweet Banana Peppers. I made myself 2 kinds. One with Pablano, and one with Gypsy and Cerrano. If you are wondering why I am wearing the goggles and gloves - YOU try and cut and roast hot peppers without them and see how you feel the rest of the day :)
Roasting the peppers on the grill. Also a small bowl with the Garlic in it. DONE!!!
