This is the Headboard for our King size bed. I made this back in 2003. I sketched some plans and took some measurements of the bed, but I didn't use any plans other than my own. The entire Headboard was constructed out of Red Oak, with Dark Red Oak colored stain and 4 coats of Gloss Polyurethane on top. There are no mechanical fasteners of any kind used - no screws or nails. It's all wood and glue.
The decoration is The Seal of Rassilon from the TV show Dr. Who. The tops of the columns have a Dr. Who theme too, if you know what it is. The 'pics are scans from the polaroid's I used before I got a digital camera.
